The pre-filter can also be mounted on the submersible pump.

The pre-filter is especially recommended when using the pump to pump highly contaminated water, e.g., from foundation pits or flooded areas.

The filter is used to prevent larger dirt particles from clogging the pump. This protects the pump impeller and prevents the pump from being blocked by twigs and other debris, thereby increasing pump reliability.

The pump pre-filter with a mesh size of approximately 5 mm is suitable for SP 1–SP 5 Flat/Dirt series submersible pumps.
