The Fitzroy thermometer/hygrometer features an extremely durable, tarnish-resistant coating and a "QuickFix" mounting system. The overall case diameter is 15 cm, and the depth is 4 cm. The device features high-quality mechanisms and displays temperature in Celsius and Fahrenheit, as well as relative humidity in percentages. QUICK FIX - The unique "Quick-Fix" system allows the device to be firmly attached to a bulkhead or wall and removed by hand in seconds. The device comes with a backplate that screws to the wall or bulkhead (instructions and drilling template included). The device then simply slides onto the backplate and locks with a gentle twist. A reverse twist removes it again. This allows for easy battery changes, removal and storage, and avoids scratching the polished case when mounting the device to the wall! TARNISH FREE - The tarnish-free instruments are coated with a newly developed protective coating using advanced surface treatment technology. It is significantly superior to lacquers and polishes, as it can withstand more than 720 hours (the longest testing period for this process) in NSS (neutral sea salt) laboratory tests. The NSS test is a certified and standardized testing method used to check the corrosion resistance of coatings on metals such as brass, zinc, and steel.
